Open call for 7 young persons to participate in a mobility in Kranjska Gora, in the framework of Erasmus+ program
Project’s description:
Erasmus+ project 2023-2SI02-KA220-YOU-000183451 – KVAK: Efficient, inclusive, engaging and constructive feedback in youth work is coordinated by the Slovenian Debate Association “Za in Proti”, with the participation of Società Nazionale Debate Italia APS, Nexes Interculturals (Spain) and IDEA (The Netherlands).
The general aims of the project are
a. To unify youth work standards and practices
b. To facilitate youth work education
To do this, after a need-assessment phase partner organizations are focusing on the creation of materials focusing on three areas of youth worker education considered to be critical:
i) effective and safe feedback delivery,
ii) care for vulnerable individuals and groups, and
iii) appropriate attitude towards participants.
In line with this, partner organizations aim to create a content handbook covering the various areas and providing guiding principles for youth workers to follow; a series of interactive exercises and videos, textual case examples and tests; and a web platform for users to access all materials and obtain a digital badge for their achievements.
All contents are primarily dedicated to youth workers involved in the education of vulnerable groups and minority, but more generally to all youth workers interested in how to create inclusive environments and provide affective, inclusive, engaging and constructive feedbacks for their users.
The Kranjska Gora event
Participants in the Kranjska Gora event will have a chance to be the first to test the excercises and activities proposed alongside the handbook, as participants in youth education activities or as youth workers. As their feedbacks and the outcomes of the workshops held in Barcelona have been fundamental in the development of the handbook, the same will happen with the exercises and the web platform. Indeed, during the event participants will provide feedbacks on the activities and contribute to the production of materials to be used by youth workers for the implementation of the program.
Dates: 25th -31st November 2024 (arrival & departure days included)
- young persons between 17 and 23 years old;
- having an experience in informal education as participants or youth workers (e.g. members of the team / group, coach and trainers…).
