A New Era in Education: Outcomes Presentation of “Debating as a New Approach to Learning” Project

The National Debate Society of Italy introduces a groundbreaking initiative, “Debating as a New Approach to Learning,” developed in collaboration with Erasmus. In a world where traditional education is continually challenged, this project leverages the European Reference Framework for Lifelong Learning to integrate debate methodology into educational curricula. Two guides are available for elementary and high school teachers, along with a multilingual student toolkit designed to boost independent learning and peer-to-peer interaction. The project also features video tutorials, offering a holistic approach to fostering key skills, democratic values, and active citizenship.
